UNSW UniConnect Program

At Hartford College learning extends beyond the classroom. Through our partnership with the UNSW UniConnect Program, Hartford students are given the opportunity to experience university life firsthand and encounter the exciting possibilities that further study can offer.

Throughout the year, students participate in UniConnect Activities at Hartford and on the UNSW campus, engaging in a range of enriching activities across STEM, critical thinking, leadership, and future pathways. These experiences are designed to inspire curiosity, foster confidence, and encourage students to see themselves as capable contributors to the world beyond school.

A highlight for many students is visiting the UNSW campus, walking through lecture theatres and laboratories, meeting university students and academics, and gaining insight into the habits and mindset required for success in higher education. Students also enjoy opportunities to connect with mentors from the university, who generously host and guide our boys throughout the experience.

The program reflects Hartford College’s commitment to forming young men who are intellectually curious, ambitious, and prepared to pursue excellence. By exposing students to university environments early, UniConnect helps cultivate aspiration while reinforcing the value of discipline, perseverance, and lifelong learning.
